Fall Message from Rev. Kirsty Hunter

Come Home For Thanksgiving!

This fall is my first here at Knox United. I have been so warmly welcomed and I have enjoyed getting to know many of you in backyards, at meetings, in the coffeeshops, and more. I am filled with gratitude to God for all these blessings. And we are all blessed that we are once again meeting in person and online with our hybrid worship. I am truly looking forward to celebrating God’s goodness, bounty, and blessings at Thanksgiving. I am inviting everyone to join me and come home for Thanksgiving!

A church home is a place to meet your neighbours.

A church home is a place to check out the new people (including the minister!).

A church home is a sanctuary in our pilgrim journey through life learning about God.

A church home is a place of rest and healing.

A church home has open doors and is glad to see you exactly how you show up.

A church home is a place to sing together, laugh together, cry together, and simply be together.

We have missed a lot over the past two years.

Don’t miss a chance to celebrate all that is good in our lives!

Come and give thanks in song, story, and prayer.

Come and check us out if you have never been here.

Come and meet friends you haven’t seen in a while if you haven’t come back yet.

Come with a friend or come on your own.

Come and see what’s going on if your curious.

Come and feel God’s inviting presence.

Come and know that you are beloved, and precious in God’s sight, and a wonder to behold.

Come home for thanksgiving!

Peace and Blessings,

Rev. Kirsty Hunter
